I'm looking for more graphic contrast and less sweet sugary colors. Don't get me wrong, I love the cotton candy, frosting colors too. They're really yummy. It makes the whole knitting experience very visceral- but, I'm working on a new direction. I'm thinking of a more sharp edged, high contrast motif.
In this case, it's a simple throw worked in very dark grey and cream. [Black and white would be too harsh.] This gives my home-made throw less of a home-spun feel.
